There is some documentation on Rackspace Knowledge Center about this but it is essentially really really really simple to install. Here are the steps for Debian Systems,:<\/p>\n<p>1. Update your aptitude packages, then make sure python-apt is installed<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>sudo apt-get update<\/p>\n<p>sudo apt-get install python-apt<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>2. Download the cloud backup installer<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<pre id=\"pre-3\">wget 'http:\/\/agentrepo.drivesrvr.com\/debian\/cloudbackup-updater-latest.deb'<\/pre>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>3. Install the cloud backup installer<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<pre id=\"pre-4\">sudo dpkg -i cloudbackup-updater-latest.deb\r\napt-get install -f<\/pre>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>4. Ensure cloudbackup-updater is installed by running<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em><strong>cloudbackup-updater -v<\/strong><\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>If you get any kind of response at all (other than command not found), it installed OK.<\/p>\n<p>5. Configure the cloudbackup driverclient<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<pre id=\"pre-7\">sudo \/usr\/local\/bin\/driveclient --configure -u yourmycloudusername -k yourmycloudapikeyhere<\/pre>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>6. Start the cloud backup driver client daemon service<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>sudo service driveclient start<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Ironically, it&#8217;s easier for Redhat based systems (Fedora, Redhat and CentOS)<br \/>\n1. Download the cloudbackup updater RPM<\/p>\n<pre id=\"pre-9\">sudo rpm -Uvh 'http:\/\/agentrepo.drivesrvr.com\/redhat\/cloudbackup-updater-latest.rpm'<\/pre>\n<p>2. Check updater is installed<\/p>\n<pre id=\"pre-10\">sudo cloudbackup-updater -v<\/pre>\n<p>3. Configure with your mycloud user and API , Key, in this case you will be prompted to type in your mycloud username and API key details, you find this in &#8220;Account settings&#8221; of your mycloud control panel<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<pre id=\"pre-11\">sudo \/usr\/local\/bin\/driveclient --configure<\/pre>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>4.
